Our elopement party - 10 November 2007




so, here are some more details...

Mossy point is 2 hrs from Canberra and 4 1/2 hrs from Sydney.
It is 20 min south of Batemans Bay.

From Sydney 296 Km Travel south drive on the Princes Highway
(there is an alternative route to Goulbourn, and then through Braidwood, I am not sure which is quickest)

From Canberra 168 Km Travel east on the Kings Highway

Arrive at Batemans Bay (only 20 min to go), continue driving south to Mogo along the Princess highway (ie continue straight after going over the bridge at Batemans bay)
Turn left off Princes Highway just at the end of Mogo town (follow signs to Mogo Zoo & Tomakin)
Turn right at the t-intersection at George Bass Drive, Tomakin (opposite a caltex service station)
Pass golf driving range on the right
Cross bridge
Turn left onto Annettes Parade (follow sign to Mossy Point)
Keep going straight, there are a number of streets turning off to the left (Annetts, River, Hilmer, Pacific, Surfside)
Turn left at fork (it is not a very clear fork).
If you drive over Candlagan Creek you have gone to far, turn around and take first right.
